Kitchen Tools & Recipes · Triangulum, Inc.
Effective date: September 22, 2026 · Last updated: September 22, 2026

The part that matters most: the app gives cooking guidance, including temperatures, storage times and meal plans that take account of dietary needs. It is a reference and a convenience, not a food-safety authority and not medical advice. Much of what it produces for you — transcribed recipes, dish ideas, invented recipes and meal plans — is written by artificial intelligence and can be wrong. Check anything that matters — particularly anything involving an allergy — against a reliable source and your own judgement.

1. This agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Triangulum, Inc. ("Triangulum", "we", "us") covering your use of the Kitchen Tools & Recipes application and any related services (the "App").

This agreement is between you and Triangulum only, and not with Apple Inc.Triangulum, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content. By downloading or using the App you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, rent, sub-license, reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

3. Cooking guidance, food safety and allergies

The App provides reference charts, cooking times and temperatures, storage and shelf-life guidance, ingredient substitutions, recipes and meal plans. All of it is guidance only.

  • Food safety remains yours. Cooking temperatures and times vary with equipment, altitude, the size and starting temperature of the food, and much else. Use a food thermometer and follow the food-safety guidance of your local authority. Do not rely on the App alone to decide whether food is safe to eat.
  • Allergies and dietary requirements. The App lets you record dietary needs, including allergies, and will try to respect them when planning meals or suggesting substitutions. This is a convenience and not a safety mechanism. It cannot know what is in a particular product, how it was manufactured, or whether it was prepared near an allergen. Always read labels and verify ingredients yourself. If an allergy is serious, treat the App's output as a suggestion to be checked, never as a clearance to eat.
  • Not medical or nutritional advice. Nothing in the App is medical, dietary or nutritional advice. Speak to a qualified professional about anything affecting health.

4. Content produced by automated systems

Several features are built on artificial intelligence. What they produce is generated by a machine, and is not written, tested or checked by a person before you see it:

  • Recipe Reader — turns a photograph of a recipe into a recipe you can save.
  • Recipe Creator — invents dish ideas and complete recipes from ingredients you say you have, or from a photograph of a dish you want to make.
  • Meal Planner — builds a week of meals and the shopping list for it.

Output may be incomplete, mistaken or misleading. A photographed recipe may be transcribed wrongly; a quantity, time or temperature may be misread or invented; an invented recipe has never been cooked by anyone; a plan may not reflect what you intended, and may not respect a dietary requirement you entered.

Check anything produced by these features before relying on it, especially quantities, cooking temperatures and anything touching an allergy. Treat an invented recipe as a suggestion from a stranger rather than as a tested recipe. You are responsible for what you cook and eat. To the fullest extent the law allows, we accept no responsibility for generated content or for what you do with it; sections 9 and 10 say how that works.

Generated text may also resemble recipes that already exist. Nothing becomes yours merely by having been generated in the App, and we make no claim about whether generated output affects anyone else's rights.

5. Your content

Recipes you write or import, your meal plans, shopping lists and household details remainyours. We claim no ownership of them. You are responsible for having the right to use any recipe or photograph you bring into the App — photographing a recipe from a book or a website for your own use is generally fine; republishing it may not be, and that is between you and whoever owns it.

How your content is handled, and what is and is not sent to us, is set out in thePrivacy Policy.

6. Subscriptions

The Recipe Reader, the Recipe Creator and the Meal Planner are separate auto-renewable subscriptions, available by the week or by the month, with an Everything plan that covers all three. The reference charts and your own recipes are free and always will be in this version of the App.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are already in.
  • A free trial, where one is offered, becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before it ends.
  • Paid features carry fair-use limits on how much can be generated in a billing period, because every request costs us money to serve. If you reach one, the App tells you and says when it resets.

Refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, not by us.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • break any law, or infringe anyone's rights;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or to interfere with them;
  • submit content that is unlawful, or that you have no right to submit;
  • use automated means to access the paid features beyond ordinary personal use.

We may suspend access to the paid features if they are being used in a way that damages the service for others.

8. Maintenance and support

Triangulum is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the App.Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services. Contact us atsupport@triangulumsoftware.com.

9. Warranty

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any guidance it provides is accurate or complete.

In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be Triangulum's sole responsibility.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Triangulum will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the App.

11. Product claims

Triangulum, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App or your possession and use of it, including: product liability claims; any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.

Triangulum, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights.

13. Legal compliance

14. Third-party terms

You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App.

15. Third-party beneficiary

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise. Nothing here deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer law where you live.
